This will be good if we can see some real footage and not just cut scene stuff. I swear how they try and mislead you by showing you 'movies'. AC series would be much better if they took the Over G approach on customizeable loadouts before missions.

Hopefully it contain more air to air combat. I couldn't even finish fires of liberation I got so tired of having to blow up tanks and protect convoys.

Either way, I'm going to miss the funny named countries and cities in our ace combat world hehe oh well. Gameplay itself looks great though

Even with HWAX and HWAX 2, I still spend more time with ACE COMBAT 6..which was made 3 years ago. Would of been better if Ubisoft made another R6 game..

It is surprising to know that some people thought it is a shooter game.O_o Ace Combat is a flight semi-sim/arcade game. Instead of controlling the grunts that descended from the chopper, you'll be controlling the chopper. I think this is a good variation from the fighter jets we usually control in this series.

Their thoughts on the fictional world being unwelcoming sounds a bit stupid to me, I got AC5 after seeing it on the shelf at a game shop thinking 'this looks cool' and I thought it was awsome how it was all made up lol

i'm a newcomer to ace combat and i think that this looks sick. correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure the helicopter is new to the ace combat series.

I am the only one that couldn't concentrate because the of the horrible translator? She was stuttering with uhs and ums the entire time. And why did they use a girl to translate a guy away? Just seemed weird. Aside from that, I'm so glad Ace Combat is coming back to PlayStation.

K if you ever want a good jet sim/arcade blended game thats near perfect. Project Aces will deliver and it is worth the wait. If you don't believe me look at the posts below and all the positivity. I also have ridiculously high hopes for this. If its as good as Zero was than I'll beat it 15 times on Expert as well.

@Necrosis thank you for fixing the flash player on the gamespot website. I would have been pissed if I wasn't able to watch this awesome video! I really hope this version doesn't make the same mistakes that Ace Combat 6 did for the 360, that was just abysmal.

The old games had me hooked! what do you mean boring? I didn't want to stop, there are 10x more old gmaers who want the old game back than there are newcomers. I am not gonna buy this game unless they put razgriz back in it and the fictional part. F**k you guys!

Detailed explosions surely enchance the experience, but theres even cooler stuff to add in a game. Make it open world, sandbox style (FSX has the whole world in a DVD). Add more strategy elements like territory control (Battlestations style). Add more squad control like in AC6. Thats innovation... mix the gernes.

Is really dumb to put the Assault Horizon pictures in the PC section. And while already confirmed only in Xbox360 and PS3. Gamespot just keep putting pictures into the PC section, are they stupid or they try to tease us PC gamers. I dislike their way of advertising a game that will not be in PC. Put down the god damn pictures from the PC section already. I love Assault Horizon but in PC version is nothing more than a wishful thinking as I can't own a console, I wish this was a PC version but NOOOOOOOOO, and Gamepot just taunt us by displaying pictures of assault horizon in the PC section!!!! Take it down already!!!!!

I wonder if Assault Horizon will have concept aircraft like previous ones or just real life ones. Game play looks awesome, although not sure how I feel about the press Y to do a loop and drop behind the enemy fighter.

They used the real world setting in Ace Combat Joint Assault, which has more super weapons ever than any other AC's...so I guess that shouldn't be a problem if you really like fighting super weapons.

The excuses given for the changes are pretty pathetic, I'm all for the changes but I'd never change something this loved because "I want to widen my genre so that everyone wants to play it." Nintendo did that and now it comes no where close to the other consoles or PC when it comes to hardcore games. This game should do well, the guy explaining should have tried a little harder. Ace Combat better not go all HAWX on us.

Oh man, they shouldn't have change the world setting. All of those Belka and Yuktobania conflicts were epic. I hope that real world doesn't mean that super weapons will get scrapped.
