AOE 2 showed how good an RTS can be for the PC. I found AOE 3 to be rather disipointing. The graphics are nice and the sound immerses you in the battlefield but the small problems like framerate and online instability really make this game a let down. The variety of units and the difference of each faction is nice but mostly all you do is mass rescources and do hardly any fighting. The campaign has a nice length but offers NO replayability at all. once you beat the campaign the only other option is online but online is laggy and dificult. If AOE 3 didn't have these problems it could be a great game but these nagging problems really make this game a let down compared to the other AOE games.
