How do I beat the birds on episode 2?

Can anyone help me here?
how do i kill the birds on episode 2 when im returning to the caban?

what I did was stand under the roof at the back patio by the jacuzzi and used it for shelter like a coward, as its hard for them to reach you. Just come forward out from cover now and then, beast them with the tourch beam. After a while you will have killed enough of them, and they will bug out. (If your health or tourch gets low hide by the jacuzzi untill fully recharged.) You will do it first time no probs. patience is the key.
