And if so approximately at which setting level would I be able to play it on?
Frame rate is very important to me so the higher that the better.
I'm new to PC gaming so forgive me if it seems that I don't really know what i'm talking about.
Specs: 8800 GTX graphics card, i7 processor, 3.5GHZ, 12GB DDR3 trip 3 memory, 1TB harddrive, Zeus X58 motherboard premium.

It should run, but be prepared to turn down the settings and the resolution...Alan Wake is pretty demanding on the GPU
The rest of your PC is still great, it's just the GPU that really has aged

Everything in your rig is great and up to date except your video card. Update your video card and you will play modern games just fine.

Upgrade your graphics card too atleast a 560ti and you could max pratically max every game out right now

Thanks guys. The reason my graphics card isn't a pure gaming based one is because my PC is mainly for HD video editing and graphic card selection is very specific when it comes to a machine dedicated to such a function....according to the guy who built it for me. I'm having trouble finding a graphics card that supports both HD video editing and gaming.
