Include Playable Females in MP! (Sign the Petition!)

    Hello everyone

    After viewing the live chat at Origin with Gearbox Producer Brian Burleson and learning that females are NOT playable, I have started an online petition and I hope that if you support the idea of the option to have Playable females in multiplayer, you will sign the petition and pass it on!

    Lets let Gearbox know that by not including playable females in Multiplayer, they are not being true to the Aliens universe and that female players won't get to "Become a Colonial Marine!" like the official website touts.

    Love having playable female characters in games - Gears, Uncharted, upcomming God of War Accension (hopefully).

    i cant remember if there were female marines in the alien movies...but i know nowadays that there are NO females in the us military that are in infantry positions (infantry, cav scout, mounted cav, ranger, special forces, etc etc), but who knows about the future

    point being, they shouldnt be in the games unless they were in the movies

    I don't care for multi player, I would rather see females be playable in single player games more often. But I'll sign since players should be given the choice all the time, instead of just the usual male lead only laziness.

    I'm female, please stop regarding me as male, I find that quite insulting and offensive, thank you.

    Don't forget to add jiggle physics. Jiggle makes games sell, yo.

    But on a more serious note, while I'm not completely for or against the petition, adding women to the game definitely won't do any bad to anyone so hopefully Gearbox will follow through with this petition.

    I'm pretty surprised at the lack of females in Aliens: Colonial Marines, to be completely honest. Especially coming from that franchise. Vasquez was tougher than some of the males she fought with. That, and I would have assumed Ripley would have been an unlockable character just cuz.

    I couldnt care less if females are in multiplayer as long as they don't have an advantage or create balance issues.
