Graphics

One word: outdated. The in game graphics are nowhere near the advertising pictures. But you know what? I would have totally forgiven that if the story and the gameplay turned out to be awesome.

The Demo Trailer

Do you guys remember that awesome 11 minutes long demo trailer when the marines were overran by the aliens? Guess what...It's not even in the F*CKING GAME. Talk about false advertising at its best.

Gameplay, AI

In the movies the aliens were cunning and sneaky. Obviously in 2001 when Aliens vs. Predator 2 was released they didn't have the technology to make a real horror game, but its 2013 for Christ sake.

I have seen better movement and AI in arcade games. It was so bad that I really had to laugh when I was facing the Alien Queen. OMG what a dumb clumsy idiot...

Story

Canonical Aliens sequel BAH. I have seen better scripts and dialogues in B category movies. I might be way too naive, but is it really THAT hard to write a decent story?

And what about the promised thrilling, chilling, adrenaline pumping moments? Well there were probably three of them, two immediatel ruined by that stupid AI.

Overall

I generally hate hype, and I very very rarely buy games at the release day. Now I had to be reminded again why.

I really feel sorry for those who love Aliens especially those who bought the Collector's Edition. What a ripoff.
