Playing in ?first person view? as a marine, then switching into ?3rd person view? to play as an alien seems irregular. Hope you can end up changing it.

gameplay seems very shallow. however, i trust Gearbox to deliver on this one.

looks nice but why not 8 vs 8 or 16 vs 16? 4 each team is a bit less :s

That's one HELLLL of a trailer!  This is one to watch....it might be great! 

That is the way DX11 is supposed to look like.  Fantastic looking game.  If the game play matches the graphics this will be great.

The  game seems to be great. Fortunately, with this lackluster pre-order bonuses, I am in no hurry to give them my money. I'll be able to check the reviews to choose which version I'll get.

Gun turrets, ATV's, and a playable female marine character in the 41's second of the video? Its looking like Gearbox is taking the extra year to hash everything out, and it looks well worth it. now if they can only make the game as good as the movies Alien, and Aliens, which were both four star movies, we as fans will be all set! @GamerOuTLaWz No, the two series are separate. AVP has nothing to do with the original Alien, Aliens, or Prometheus series. Predators don't exist in that world.

A:CM is going to be awesome, even the doubters are getting swayed to believe it might actually be good.

When I first saw game play of this game it didn't look too promising...but now I'm actually excited...Dead Space 2's multiplayer was so good in my opinion, so if people could stick around and play this?  It'd be awesome!!!  I honestly like the fact that you're trying to escape...the only thing that could be bad is if they came out with only 3 maps or something like that.  THAT would get old...5 could get by :) and hopefully it can be balanced and what not.  Also this would be sick because of a "horror" and "intense" feel the game could give off.  Xeno's are terrifying, and dangerous, so that would definitely help with the atmosphere :)  Looking good Gearbox!!!

Wow! This is looking really good, I must admit I was very unsure of how this one would turn out but after a whole heap of images and a few videos later, I'm definitely interested! Let's hope it matches our expectations and delivers an Alien game that we've been waiting for...For so long!

i was seriously praying they would produce a game as per the versus mode in left 4 dead ... thank god my prayers were answered! this is going to be one hell of a game.

"they mostly come at night...mostly"Lets be honest here, anyone that grew up with Alien and AvP games isnt going to get the same kick out of this as they did as kid, same can be said for much of life. What this game will hopefully do however is get a hole new generation of kids hooked on the Alien experience and hopefully have as much fun as i did when i was younger.

It matters not which game pioneered modes etc first or any other similarity. What matters Is that a game Is fun. I hope that this game Is fun to play because the visuals & sounds are looking authentic.

Me in 1999- Playing AVP with a friend on survival mode in the gorge. We fight our way through waves of aliens through the gorge until we see a bunker. We open it and shut the door. Theres a smartgun and a flame thrower in there. We continue firing through the port holes as they start to mount the bunker and tear it apart from the top. The roof collapses and aliens pour in. Game over man...game over.

Wow has no one here played the first AVPs? They had modes like this way before L4D. This is not a new attempt at multiplayer survival for these guys. I get the feeling most of you L4D kiddies weren't even born back then.
