Refinery with the Predator?

How do you get out of the refinery with the predator? it says to

"Smash the pipes" but the only pipes i can find are enclosed and cant be hit

Drop to the ground and look into one of the tunnels that is on fire. On the ceiling is a pipe you can hit with your smart disc.
