Why does the game keep telling me (This game is currently unavailable. Please try again at another time)?

I had the same problem. I fixed it by highlighting the game in steam then clicking properties. In that menu click on the tab that says Local Files. In there click Verify integrety of game cache. I also clicked defragment cache files after that. That should work and if it doesnt try reinstalling it.
