I am getting this game again in a day or so and am looking forward to playing online... hopefully that is. I'm assuming this thread won't get too much attention here on this dead board, but if anyone wants to add me to play or if anyone is cheevo hunting add me as well.

Sorry, traded it in several months back after realizing that even with the gamefaqs community it'd have taken a year at least to get the needed XP for the achievements.

Managed to get into a few ranked matches recently. I agree its very unbalanced tho.

My general experience is that Marines < Predators < Aliens (based on my current tests against targets, the sheer speed of the aliens tends to outpace the predators)

the game's not that unbalanced. you guys are just being destroyed by vets who prey on noobs. if you've learned the melee mechanics, you'll be able to own as any species. unless you face some Predator punk who uses cheap ass tactics to win. which is most of them, these days, I assume(haven't played in over a year or so tbh).
just learn the basic counter, parry system, and you'll be okay.

I didn't say it wasn't unbalanced. it is, it's just not THAT UNBALANCED. the only unbalanced **** is Predator scum. If a Predator player has any sort of honor to him, he won't use cheap ass tactics.
And if he doesn't, the game is as balanced as any multi-player game out there. meaning any species, can and will win.
and if you're any good at the game, it won't matter if Preds are being cheap or not. I was on plenty of Xeno and Marine teams that played fairly and still beat cheap ass Pred teams(I do mean TEAMS of them. where all of them would resort to cheap **** just to stand a chance against good Marines and Xenos)
this game's golden days are past. all that's left is new players looking to have some fun. Noobs who have looked up cheap tactics. and a few veterans who will stomp you into the ground without having to resort to being cheap.

Pred was the favorite of the 3. Can't get knocked down, awesome weapons (plasma caster anyone??) and then there's the heavy melee (half the time I can counter it the other half...well let's just say I get max health and max ammo if I'm a marine lol).
The marine and xeno are fairly well balanced but the pred throws everything off imo.

I have never played online, and I played the core game in over a year. But add me, I should have live gold in a month or so. Ill accept when I get on.

Anyway, I just bought a used copy of this game bc my original disk was so scratched from a year and a half of constant spinning in my 360.
And surprisingly, there is still enough people playing this. A created and hosted a lobby that had 9/12 players every match and played in it for at east two hours.
It still sucks when I first create lobby, bc everyone is so impatient and wants immediate satisfaction that they don't stick around until more players come.
but if any of you would wanna add me, it would really help when starting out new lobbies. whenever there's a few or at least 2 people in a lobby, a nice snowball effect almost always occurs and with me as host, I almost always wait until there's a full lobby until I start things up..

I played Survivor for the first time last night. There were several multiplayer games going on as well.
This game is actually a lot of fun. I have only finished the Marine campaign, but it was well done.
