Sega America, Trying to keep up with all of the aliens vs predator remakes and what not, this year came out with a game that will forever change your perspective on games. But let me warn you, it WONT be in a good way.

2010's Aliens Vs predator looked like an interesting game from the cover, but its a different story when you pop the game in. If you didn't already know, there are 3 campaigns available to play. Alien, Predator, and Marine.

As the Game starts, the visuals look okay, and the cut scenes are pretty nice and straight forward, But as you progress to killing your first "alien"(MARINE), i knew i shouldn't expect too much. getting down to business, its more like a good-bad procedure.

1. BAD: The mechanics, graphics, level design and movement lagged completely, and it was obvious time was NOT put into this game. GOOD: Up close fatalities looked brutal, bloody, disturbing and amazing. (WHOLE GAME)

2. BAD: Shooting enemies was very repetitive and boring, and though there's a variety of weapons, almost NONE of them were fun to use. GOOD: On the other hand, playing as Alien, the Tail and claws were a joy to use, and as predator, the blades and beaming gun were fun to wield.

3. BAD: The gun audio seemed mediocre, and the people constantly go around saying the same things. GOOD: The alien and predator screeches and screams were on tact, and seemed to bring you back to the movie.

4. BAD BAD BAD: The health system was horrible, at first it felt like i had eternal life, then i was struck a couple times, and found myself dead fairly quick for each character. GOOD?... The multi-player was slightly fun...

To sum it all up!

The Marine Campaign seemed annoying, and plain bad. The only gun i liked using was the shotgun, witch ran out of ammo almost instantly. The story was almost nothing to it. You are basically doing the same small objectives over and over, And the only thing i got out of the quick FPS was getting the Achievements... that's it.

The Alien campaign was actually fun at first. Climbing on walls, biting peoples heads off, sprinting at top speed, etc. But as you move on, its the same boring objectives and the same ugly letdowns. Climbing was very confusing, it was a hassle just climbing into vents, and the story was again, lame.

The Predator Campaign also had its glory. Becoming invisible, high-fly jumping, and clawing off heads with blades. But what can i say, its all the same problems. Dying quickly, loose story, and boring tasks.

AVP needed A LOT more time on the drawing board before EVER releasing this game. I don't recommend this to anyone that has actually played an FPS before. And if you played AVP, you would probably agree. AVP gets a 1/5 in my book. -StayInColor
