Good game but could have a lot more improvements.

Difficulty:
Hard
Time Spent:
10 to 20 Hours
The Bottom Line:
"Hard to describe"
First of all the singleplayer is good in different ways by the marine campaign having a kind of 'creepy' atmosphere to begin with by vents moving suddenly with the music building up at the right times. However this soon enough wears off once you gain bigger better weapons because you expect anything then and also start just killing anything in sight. The marine campaign is good but they could have made it longer and a lot more scary like the original game instead of making it like an action movie guy killing everything and anything.

The alien campaign i liked with the sneaky parts by climbing on walls and ceilings to quickly kill your targets, so the killlmoves to me never get old depending on how you face them- however sometimes i find that the marines seem to detect you so easily although it probably is my fault by accidently running around because of the disorientation the alien campaign brings by the movement on walls and ceilings. Plus the simple aim of killing everything in sight- similar to the humans.

Predator campign i enjoyed the most by using stealth and going around the marines and picking them off one by one especially by using fun killmoves or even a different weapon. Fighting aliens is fun but annoying at times especially on higher difficulties when all you can do is hand to hand combat and they pretty much take quite a bit of health off. But i like the spear and plasma gun and make the campaign better it think but still it seems to lack something.

The online is good- not played much though because im not exactly a big fan of the multiplayer on this game because im use to CODMW2 now. However it is still good and worth playing- the game isnt as bad as critics say, its a fun game but it had too much hype by Rebellion and Sega bringing out too many trailers which showed everything that happens in the game so when played we expected more and better than the original- the visuals are spot on but the campaigns need more length and evening out so that it is similar to the original but different at the same time by adding different game modes for singleplayer and making it co-op offline and change the marine campaign completely to make it similar to the original. Overall a fun game but needs improvements.
