As a youngster growing up with epic Sci Fi films like the predator films the Alien films with Ripley and now the Alien Vs Predator films coming along, I knew it wouldnt be long before i saw a next generation video game of the two great species make a new awesome appearance and in this game a awesome appearance they do..

Dont get me wrong the audio is great and they have the sounds spot on and the graphics are awesome too the but... gameplay wise its feels like a game taken back to the past waaay back when the next gen consoles were 1st released!

Small things dont bother me anymore in games but when the small things out way the good the bad is seen more often and as we all know can leave a game gathering dust on shelf,
The Alien controls are very awkward and can be frustrating at times, and when playing as a Alien and being stealthy for along period of time you tend to notice the marines constantly repeating dialogue which gets very annoying very quick!
The Marines feel so outdated gameplay wise its shoot and run shoot and run, Theres no looking through the sight of your gun no customization of your weapons no upgrades no crouch (why?) no vehicles either?
The predators cant crouch and as those of us that watched the predator and Alien Vs Predator films know they crouched alot in the trees and just before a high attack?
I want to truly like this game i really do but it feels so much like a rushed out effort and it could have been so epic!
