I will admit that I had some doubt about this game when it was released. Since most of the previous versions really weren't that good. But after playing this one for a while, I have to say I was mildly satisfied with the results. The story itself was kinda bland but the action sequences more than made up for that.

My favorite part is being able to switch between the Marine, Predator and Alien at each break in the story. Then each character would have thrir own storyline that was mingled with the main plot. The easiest for me was the Marine because of the weapons available and the easy manuverability. The Alien was fun, but sometimes you would get turned around while crawling up walls and ceilings and lose your bearings. The predator has the stealth option but sometimes it would turn off while right in front of an enemy. The results were not pleasent.

The intense action and gore was enough for any diehard fan and the overall game itself was fun to play no matter which character you choose. Plus, the game was not easy and not too super hard so there was a happy medium that didnt make you wanna throw your controller at the TV. Overall if you like FPS with some small differences in normal gameplay, then give this game a try. Just don't expect too much out of it... enjoy it for what it is.
