Aliens V.S. Predator is a nerdy clash of two of sci-fi's greatest. Thats a lie nobody likes Predator. He sucks. This game is a good game, but I just recently bought it and with age the game loses some of its luster.
STORY: I have only played the Alien and Marine campaign. There is a Predator campaign, but I do have a strong hate for Predator and I will eventually get to its campaign. The overall story is that Weylan Yutani company has opened up some Predator Ruins. With this comes the Predators so called creations ALIENS, MARINES to clean up the mess and try to save survivors, and PREDATORS to do whatever they do. The MARINE and ALIEN campaign really feel good and they are enjoyable. The stories to tie into one another which is really really good.
GAMEPLAY: FPS (First Person Shooter). This game feels great for the MARINES. Feels like what Colonial Marines should be. Wait? Where is Colonial Marines? Instead we got Alien v.s. Predator? DANG! The ALIEN campaign is more of a stealth point a to point b quest. It isn't bad, but the transitional controls from floor to wall are horrible. I have played a little bit of PREDATOR and it feels like a combination of MARINE and ALIEN. Each campaign feels different and something worthwhile. The Multiplayer is a blast.......if you can find anyone to play with anymore. I recently picked this game up and it is really tough to find players to play with, but when you do it is fun.
PRESENTATION: This is where the fan game part comes in. The sounds, mythology, looks ect. are all pulled from the movies. This is great and makes it fun, but the gameplay feels strictly fan made. Someone coming into the series new would find the gameplay boring. The graphics are sometimes good, and sometimes original atari graphics. Ok joking about that last part, but you understand. There are also musical qeues that play when an alien is nearby which is nice.
To be honest I bought this game for the MARINE campaign so I could get my Colonial Marine fix. The game is fun, but now that time has passed the Multiplayer is forgotten and everything else is slipping away. My local gamestop had the price lowered as of a sale. Thats why I picked it up. Don't waste large amounts of money on it, because the campaigns are fun but short and the multiplayer is a ghost town.

Nothing like what it could be compared to AVP2 but not bad if you can score it for less than $50

This game was way better than reviews say. Campaigns had good storylines, bosses were tough, and online was incredable.
