Aliens vs Predator is an embarrassing game with a horrible combat system

Picking this game up for $10, I still felt like it was a rip-off. I'll start off with the basic premise of the game. You can play one of the three campaigns: Marines, Aliens, or Predators. The first campaign, Marines is below-average, if not mediocre. The guns don't feel that powerful and there aren't that many to choose from. The next problem with the Marines is it is not a regenerating health system. NOW BEFORE you flag this review, I know not every game needs a health regenerating feature. But this isn't a game to put it in. I can't even begin to stress how frustrating it is to do this campaign and die at every checkpoint because I don't have an extra health pack on me. The graphics in this campaign are also half-assed and don't show anything promising in them at all.
The second campaign, Aliens, is nothing but repetitive. Go 100 feet, climb up a vent, kill a couple marines, go up a vent, go out a vent, jump up onto a building, kill some marines, go in a vent....you get the point. The combat system is so incredibly pathetic and there are no combo moves or anything.
The final campaign, Predators, is not half bad. You actually have several different weapon choices, along with your dual claws. Again, repetitive combat and no story that engages you at all. (Not like there could really be a story.)
The multiplayer is nothing special and nobody even plays it anymore. Overall, Aliens vs Predator is a frustrating, mediocre, average piece of filth that doesn't deserve any small sliver of attention.

Nothing like what it could be compared to AVP2 but not bad if you can score it for less than $50

This game was way better than reviews say. Campaigns had good storylines, bosses were tough, and online was incredable.
