Today on the Spot, Tim Jones from Rebellion Games stops by to deliver the first of three demos of Aliens vs. Predator on the Xbox 360.
They're my favorite mainly because thay can walk on walls, and more impolrtantyly when u r an alien its very hard to be scared... u r the 1 inspiring fear in others! MUA-HA-HA-HA!!!!!!!!!
I've been playing the demo for a while now and ive got to say, the aliens, or , "Xenomorphs", are my FAVORITE t play as!
theres no blood says every 1 of coures some 4 year old can waltz in here aand look this up and see gore ans blood wait till thursday theres a psn demo coming :)
I don't know if that would be asking too much. You can now see your enemies trough walls with the pheromone concentrations. I personally think that is a good new feature :)
I'm very disappointed that they didn't stay true to the biological aspects of Aliens in AVP. Aliens do NOT have eyes, it was explicitly stated by Ridley Scot, the creator of the original Alien franchise. Aliens rely solely on sounds to find their preys. AVP should have created something similar to the Daredevil's echo vision for the aliens.
@Antatious The game is rated M, it will guarantee to have buckets of blood both offline and online, but on a show like these they have to censor down on the M rated contents.
Did I not see any blood in the gameplay? Is it because it is the tutorial? It seems like it should be much more visceral when you attack. Still a sweet looking concept for someone who's never played the others.
It appears to be the same controls as the other games but remade for the consoles. Nice to have some familiarity. We need some more games like this where its first person and your playing as an all powerful, highly agile animal(Alien).
the graphics look pretty awesome! oh and demo interviewer, it probibly was just the day before, if u saw the movie it was full grown in hours. and @transformer1992, stopbeing a hater.,
I hope the marine gameplay is has good as in the first game. Back in 1999, the dark places with a light machinegun and a beeping radar, were just creepy. Playing with the alien was also fun and playing with the predator was just too easy :D
@deal266 - "that's it man! We're history! Game over Man, Game over!!" XD Hudson was the best character in Aliens by far :D
I want to be the alien in third person. That would be a lot better than the lame first person with arms and tail shooting out in front of a blank screen.
OMG! dis is da smartest alien..it took out da lights and knew what key to destroy to open da door...!!!
Zomg this game is going to sweet, i was really hopeing that in the alien campain and multiplayer you could start as a facehugger but still looks great
I really hope they dont mess this up seeing how these r the same people who made rouge worrier imo the worst game ever....
As good as this game looks, it will be hard to belive that it will be good since Rebellion is known for not so good games
The story seems to be no different from the 1st game. An evil corporation experiments on Aliens, then the Aliens break free and start killing everyone. The marines come to the rescue and the Predators come to hunt. Couldn't they think of a better plot?
Rofl, 'just yesterday it seems like we were bursting outta somebody's chest!' It actually would've been cool to start off playing as a chestburster and making your initial escape at that size, rather than a fully grown alien. Either way, this is one murder party I'm looking forward to attending.
