@DamageIncM @oldschoolvandal It was some sort of waterproof radio / iPad dock thing. The display just had the ball sitting in the bowl of water making noise. I decided to pick it up and drop it in the water, which made a pretty big mess. Good enough to give Shaun and I something to laugh about, but sadly not much else.
Despite what Bats is saying on here, SOPA is still up for debate, with a major hearing coming on the 18th of January. It is not in effect yet, and several major web-based corporations are rumored to be doing a major blackout on the 18th of January. Wow I never realized how much JUNK was shown at CES. No wonder video games have completely taken over events like E3. The rest of it is the same crap you find at spencers and brookstone (exception being the clip with windows 8).

This video is proof that people are getting mad day by day.Though there where some really good products like the protective.....balls for the tablets and the replicator.But the Iphone bot and the gaming chair.....REALLY!!!
Surveillance with that iphone bot, after 5 seconds, the phone as well as the bot just disappeared lol.
If people put as much energy to making something beneficial and usefull as they do in making useless crap for your phone, the world would be a better place. I see sooo much wasted potential...

@fatee: lol, it's not a real fireplace, do not worry. It's a fake thik that mimics a fireplace, you get the mood without the expenses and heat, and it doesn't need wood, lol.
From the looks of it, the Makerbot uses spools of soft, malleable plastic. As it is forming the object, the print head heats up the plastic into a hot, liquid state and then extrudes it, where ideally it cools and hardens on contact with the air.
the first thing..the pc work station...is straight out of grandma's boy. also, the sunglasses-tv monitor is cool. the replicator is awesome! though the products have a weird texture to them...but its a step in the direciton of star trek! the iphone robot is interesting but basically useless. the robot at the beginning and end is pretty cool though!
