I tried playing this game, but the keyboard configuration was just obscene and ridiculous. Yes, this may be the shortest gameplay time review of this game, but it's a honest one. The only reason for this was that I spent 5 minutes looking, in the menu' for a button used to exit a vehicle, and when I could not find one, I gave up on the game. There is no intuitive interface which prompts the user with a message of which button they need to press to perform a necessary action. All of my difficulties aside, the game looked just horrible by any modern standards. Battlefield 2 had overall better environments, animations, character and weapon models and etc. This game failed to have any dazzling effect even during the initial cut scene for the single player campaign. I don't know why it insists on being realistic, as in no short time did it feel like it made even the slightest attempt. That's the problem with open and massive games, the developers rarely strive to put any detail into something on small scale, as they figure that the length and expansiveness of the game will keep the player interested long enough to get their money's worth. and that's a Fail. This is where Battlefield 3 really shines, because at no instant during the game do you feel like you've been left behind in a void of undeveloped game space partially covered by artificial terrain and scattered game models.
