I end up buying these games everytime, all the way back to operation flashpoint and i just don't get it. I really want to but I must be missing something. The shooting is decent when you actually get into a fight but for me nothing seems to actually work correctly. I remember on Arma 2 i spent hours trying to get the helicopter to land on the helipad in the camp to pick me to take me to the next nav point, everytime it either landed in the sea, landed on a roof, basically landed anywhere other than where i told it to and it just crashed and blew up everytime ****ing time. People always say you have to learn how to play it but I consider myself a half intelligent human being who's been playing games for 30 years and I can't see how if you use the command to tell it to land and even specify where it lands and then it decides to do something completely different what else you're supposed to do. Most bugged frustrating game in the world, made more frustrating as the few moments where it all seems to work correctly are really good. I did seem to spend alot of time wandering around not totally sure whether i'm doing it wrong or the game has cocked up again and the next bit hasn't triggered.Maybe I should have played the multiplayer. Hope this version is a bit more 'polished'. Then again I havn't touched arma 2 for a few years, anyone know if it has been patched to a playable state on the single player campaign I really fancy another crack at it?
