Tournament

http://forum.acgarage.com/viewforum.php?f=17 that's a link to acgarage's tournament thread. I just started going on that site so I really don't know how it is, but it looks pretty alright. Since they actually have an entire section for tournaments maybe it will be a good place to post about this.

Also, sorry I've been all kinds of busy and I'm going to a roller coaster/water park tomorrow so tomorrow's gonna be busy to and I don't think I would be able to get on for it tomorrow night. Since it's kind of short notice do you want to get everyone who posts and is interested in coming up and perfecting the ideas to do some "workshops" over the next week to put the ideas into action, ya know get more of a feel for what works, what doesn't, see if we need to put any rules or limitations on things, find out what maps are best to do event A as opposed to event B.

Some ideas are great ideas for teams and not as good for singles and vice versa so I think we should do some work on it, especially if you are really thinking about a prize that involves any kind of money on anyone's behalf. But yeah, whatever you decide would be awesome but to do it well and get more people aware about it, I think do it next saturday.

On the note of ideas, I want to see your hockey idea in action because I don't know if I entirely understood your explanation. I love jousting that sound great and I'm sure that would be pretty easy to work out, I was thinking maybe try a pile driver version if it since you might not always kill the guy you could come up with different ways to score points. I have a "flash tag" concept which still needs some work so I would like to test it out, basically you can only attack when you are flashed and when the flash wears off you HAVE to stop shooting and find someone else to flash, so you have to strategically choose who to flash. That's set in a battle royal format. Team relay races arouns huge canyon, and the train tracks and anywhere else you can think of. Set up equal distance relay points, the tag is a boost kick to your team mate. Idk if we could get someone to do it but it would be nice to have 2 operators to kinda be referees. Ill try and add any more ideas I can think of a little later when I can.

Lmao doesn't it sound fun! Lol. I'm pretty pumped for this to get started! If you guys do one tonight let me know how it goes :-) if you're gonna do a real one for real stuff though I still think we should wait to iron out all the wrinkles.

Also I am sure there must be something we could come up with using the UAV and turning the game into somewhat of a top down shooter. there's no other use for it in this game so we should find something to use it for :-P lol

**TRIPLE POST** So I was thinking about the football game I was originally telling fish I was trying to work on and honestly I could not think of a successful way to pull it off, but I had this other idea that was born from my idea of "field goals". Team play or I was throwing around a battle royal verision but ill stick with team play for a second. One member of your team loads on dual howitzer cannons and ammo reserves just incase(no one needs weapons) set a point limit to get too. Your howitzer stays at the designated position while the rest of the team and the opposing team hit the field. Launch of howitzer rounds high in the air and the goal of the other people is to try and get hit by them. Still working on the points system but either way the enemy will be able to steal points by getting hit themselves and after a certain time you switch.

In battle royal it turns into one howitzer and everyone else is trying to get hit by howitzer shells. First person to die wins and then you go from lowest health to highest health to determine other places. Just thought this idea up 5 minutes ago so feel free to tweak it however.
