Armored Core V User Review
Through an AC fan filter, the official reviews out there aren't too far off. It missed the sweet spot in of old and new.

- The Bottom Line:
- "Almost, but not quite"
Things you might want to know if you've played AC before and the reviews aren't cutting it.
1. It is part ps2 AC and AC 4 with a little too much chromehounds thrown in.
2. Progress to new parts is stunted by the fact that you must join/ create a team and build up team points.
3. If you aren't lucky enough to know atleast 4 people in your state that plays this, actually doing anything outside of mercenary work is hard.
4. Comparatively there is a lot less dodging and more hiding behind buildings.
5. For better or worse, sniping range is greatly reduced.
6. Weapons can be tuned sort of like AC 4 on your mech, but only when purchased so you might have to buy multiple copies of a given weapon.
7. No more quick boost spamming.
8. You cannot fly. You wall jump and glide to places.

A step forward in the series, where the players finally run the Corporations and hire the Mercenaries. I'm not joking.
