Jonathan checks in with producer Toshifumi Nabeshima about the upcoming title Armored Core V.
All i want is the first ARMORED CORE with ps3 graphics. They went nuts with it now.sure the cinematics are cool, but the customization is confusing and now that theyre all rediculously quick (even the heavys), the controls just cant keep up with it and you never fully feel in control. My fix- Slow it down
This is, contrary to the title: a reboot of the series. Meaning the story is also being reset and they are trying to draw a larger crowd. That being said I'm both sad and happy for it. I feel however, if they want to draw a bigger crowd they should change the title to just: Armored Core. (it being a new series and all)
my best memories of AC were fine tuning the heck out of a fully armored heavy weapon AC thinking i was unbeatable only to be owned by my brother using a lightweight high mobility build with pistols... goes to show the game has endless possibilities and strategies. unfortunately AC has never gained popular mainstream stardom but always had a very loyal cult following. cheers to us AC followers and heres to hoping this new iteration breathes life back into the franchise by giving an all out multiplayer experience
iv given up on the AC games now, the last few that came out where shocking. it still looks like a downloadable game lol
I hope that's just temporary because sliding on the ground with a gigantic robot should at least leave some marks on the ground and also, sliding over those railings should have wrecked them off the ground. Landing on those buildings or crashing into them should also have an effect on the buildings seeing as these are giant mechs. :\
I'm definitely looking forward to this game. I've been kinda starved for some great mech action. I've been getting by with Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 but that can't compare to the Armored Core franchise, imo.
First post. Either, they are not sure how soon the game will be out in the US, Europe, Canada, Australia and Britain. Or maybe they they just won't tell us.
