Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - The Da Vinci Disappearance User Review
I was definately expecting DLC but I was expecting more. Not bad but it could have been a whole lot better!

- The Bottom Line:
- "Uninspired"
As much as I love the Assassin's Creed series, this DLC felt like a chore to get through. I haven't gotten that feeling from the series since the first game. First of all, the DLC is full of glitches like sound and music skipping. The most entertaining part of this was trying to achieve the new set of trophies. The missions themselves aren't as fun to play as those found in the original game. Half of them involve tailing someone and puzzle solving. It was pretty cool for Ubisoft to release the Templar Hideouts, armor and multiplayer characters that players could have only gotten before through certain promotions or special editions of the AC: Brotherhood. I didn't try any of the new online modes, so none of my review is based on how good or bad that maybe. The story is a really unnecessary addition to the overall plot and I was expecting a lot more due to how awesome of a game AC: Brotherhood is.
My Breakdown:
What's Good:
- Trophy hunting is always fun in the AC series. This doesn't disappoint.
- Finally gaining features to the game that before were only exclusive to certain versions
What's Not-So-Good:
- I know its DLC but it was still too short
What's Bad:
- Irrelevant story
- The missions are not all that fun
- Glitchy
In all, I only gave this DLC as high of a score as I did because it gave me a reason to go back and play AC: Brotherhood and I just needed an excuse to do so. If it weren't for my love of playing the game in general, this would have gotten a poor score. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this DLC to anyone unless they just love playing AC: Brotherhood as much as I do or they're a completist. You're really not missing out on much if you pass it up...only a few new trophies. AC II's DLC was better imo.

This decent DLC isn't quite worth 10$.

The Da Vinci Disappearance lacks enough content to make the ten dollars worth spending.
