- The Bottom Line:
- "Best in series"
Assassin's creed II definitely has amazing visuals without any question even during gameplay which doesn't occur in many games. the scenery is admirable to any standard.
Although at one point of the game I could look through the ground which was very disappointing. In addition the water does not move which is unrealistic and could be a literal visual scar.
The storyline is amazing it is set in italy at a renaissance time where people acted differently and this is desirably illustrated. the accents are good and sometimes satirical such as when the female exclaimed 'Mama Mia' which was moderately humorous. The whole game is about storytelling which is told in detail plus the storyline itself is very creative though many parts are inspired by historical event.
The game is so easy that I was able to complete it without dying and as I did not play assassin's creed 1 I didn't know you could get more health or reinforce yor weapons and I went through the whole game with minimum health and a weak weapon this game definitely needs to be more challenging. Even the puzzle at the end did not confuse me.
The game makes you feel as if your in it; in italy doing all the things Ezio is doing.
Overall I think Assassin's creed II is a great game with amazing music and a storyline that is one of the greatest but unfortunately it doesn't get a nine out of ten from me because of the visual scar when you can look through the ground whilst falling and the difficulty of the game; it has no challenge whatsoever it is just for fun.
