quick question about online pass

Im renting this, and at first I thought I couldnt play MP, but now Ive heard the online pass is only needed for......Im not sure. it was something to do with being past level 10 I think. I just want to know if I can get all the MP achievements without the pass, which includes getting to lvl 20. otherwise I'll probably not bother (I dont hate the MP, Im just kinda tired of it after the last 2 games)

You kind of answered your own question didn't you?

Without an online pass you can play to level 10, so no, you cannot play to level 20.
