In my opinion- Assassin's Creed II was the best in the series bar none. It had multiple cities, tombs to explore, and an overall point of revenge that I wanted to fulfill in the game. Brotherhood & Revelations were OK, but they really didn't have the same level of motivation, and didn't have the vastness of ASII. Assassin's Creed 3 sounds great on paper, and the trailers looked cool to be fighting the British. However, the game starts off incredibly slow, and remains slow due to a multitude of overly long cutscenes. It then throws a huge curveball before even getting to the main character. The setting in the USA is just not Assassin's Creed. It would have been better to just create a new game with a new name and franchise. I can't say there aren't any good things about the game. But, as stated in the title, they've definitely jumped the shark!

It has its flaws, but Assassins Creed 3 aims high, and has far more good than bad.

AC3 Jumped the Shark! Very slow, too many cutscenes. Not the same game playing in the USA. Long for the days of ACII!

Amazing story but nothing really feels new about the game.

Assassin's Creed 3 is an interactive history lesson. It's game play might be a bit monotone, but at least it's varied.
