Assassin's Creed III takes us into what is perhaps the coolest environment ever in a game-- the American Revolution.

Difficulty:
Just Right
Time Spent:
10 to 20 Hours
The Bottom Line:
"Worth the wait"
Graphics: 8/10 The graphics are generally well done and do a fine job of immersing you into eighteenth-century colonial America. The scenery ranges from wilderness to villages to cities to ships. It's something that's striking, as it's not very common in games. The only downside here is that the game has a horrific problem with fade-in and materializing objects and/or textures.

Sound: 10/10 The voice acting is well done. The voice actors for Haytham, Connor, Achilles, and some other characters are great.

Control: 10/10 The control is basically the same as previous Assassin's Creed entries, so there's really nothing to complain about here.

Content: 9/10 The storyline is reasonably standard, as with other entries in the series. The setting, story, and characters come together to give you an experience where you are immersed in the American Revollution-- it's a treat simply to be part of it. The only major complaint here is that the game could have included more of the tradition (i.e. the actual Creed) of the Assassin Brotherhood. Overall, though, this gives us a well-done entry in a great series of video games.

  5. The Assassin's Creed franchise ventures into new territory on Nintendo's Wii U, but isn't completely enjoyable.
