Man, I live in Germany, I am an American who speaks very little Deutsch.I bought the new AC3 and the prompts and instructions are in German.I changed the language to english, that works for the dialog ,but the prompts are still in German.Can I change these somehow?
5 Like Love how all the people are complaining about this being some sort of nonsense storyline when the whole game series is about a man who uses a hyper advanced machine, they always seem to have a spare of, to read his DNA which contains memories of his long dead ancestors who just so happened to interact with a hyper advanced alien race that once dominated all human life through objects that interacted with our brains wirelessly until they were all wiped out by a solar flare.
Yeah the orignial story of the series was just super grounded in realism. Almost simulation like in its execution.
If you guys think you can be more creative, do it. Don't whine. Its sad.

This expansion is borderline fantasy. And just to help you see why it's stupid, Desmond is of modern age. In the modern age, it's not THAT unbelievable to think he can relieve the memories of his ancestors through technology. It requries quite a bit of suspension of disbelief, but within rationality.
Now explain to me how a game that is boasting at it's historical accuracy has the player play a Native american in early 18th century America that can morph into an eagle and use OctoCamo in the style of Crysis/MGS4 ?
@TohouAsuraI might not even play it either, but if you are going the psuedo science route (which to my knowledge no one in the real world is taking in the direction the game takes it) So it requires quite a bit more suspension of disbelief than most. The Animus program could be hacked to allow those within the VR to do whatever they wanted to do since the Animus software is essentially just a program (like The Matrix) for interfacing with all his memories and the chair merely a point of access. So it could be possible to swap Washington as the villian and give Connor new super human abilities even if it wouldn't happen in "reality" since its just code. I just bitch because I enjoy when developers try to do something interesting with the game world mechanics and characters outside of the normal game story. DLC that actually gives you more hours of play with a storyline you don't expect. Not like some other games that hand out a few crap skin change or a new weapon in a bundle and try to pass that off for $30 of your money like you should be grateful to them. Least these developers tried something new with what they had rather than just more of the same barely inspired updates developers use to increase shelf life of their game
@thetahar @TohouAsura This DLC is SHit!! I know the game is based on machines that is not real, but this is making the series ridiculous!!
1 Like @TohouAsura This DLC is an ALTERNATE story that doesn't anything to do with the actual storyline. It doesn't even involve desmond in any way. So why are you complaining that it's not realistic?? It doesn't matter because its a DLC!!!

Even if the DLC has nothing to do with the story in a canonical manner, it's still contained within the AC universe, in the Americas time period.
And I don't see how the fact Desmond isn't part of this DLC makes the Fantasy stuff any more relevant.
Have us collect a ring to rule them all while you're at it and call it another "Piece of Eden".
