Here's an extended look at how Boston looks in Assassin's Creed III.
This looks awesome! However, I'm going to miss playing as Ezio. He was by far, one of the best characters ever developed, in any game!
AC is one of my favorite titles and I'm so stoked for this game to come out , and I'm fine with waiting as long as it takes to make this game killer. With that said, like Ukraz said , the British soldiers have muskets. I know muskets only fire one musket ball and it takes roughly 30 seconds for a SKILLED musketeer to reload the rifle. Now that I cleared that up the soldiers did not fire one shot at Connor during the first fight scene. Instead they just rush in with bayonets as if they have some ego to protect (maybe ? lol). In all reality Connor would have definitely been shot at especially if he is taking people out that swiftly. I do hope they realize this or perhaps we didn't see a previous scene ? I don't know. I just love realism in AC franchises and hope they don't sway too far off their mainstream. I'm super pumped for this beast of a game..great story and great era in American history.
looks like some good additions to the formula...still don't understand why no one notices the guy in the weird costume dripping with weapons, but I'm a sucker for running and jumping so whatev.
Ok, being able to crouch and lean on walls should have been in the 1st game. Combat still not fixed. Just wait and counter atk, To easy so you never feel in danger. Still look decent tho
Very nice, but why on earth did at least on of those british soldiers not shoot connor with their...musket unless their all unloaded.
@Giantsfan22 muskets arent like guns they dont go where you point them, sort of random
@Smittyco1 Not entirely true. Muskets are smooth bore rifles so they aren't very accurate at distances over 25 yards, but close up like that wouldn't have been a problem with accuracy. It has more to do with how slow they are. At that range against an active combatant like Connor, it takes time to draw back the hammer on a flintlock and then aim without hitting civilians. Much easier to go for a stab.
The fight animations are sick, but the AI looks terrible. they all just run and stand next to him waiting to be chopped to shit. Also, notice how they seem to forget they have muskets.
damn u can climb practically anything now! i love it! and can't wait to try out the new combat system, i was watching UFC 148 and they showed a trailer of the combat system and has a lot of MMA fighting moves shit looked awesome!
They will never make a whole game about desmond. 2 reasons why: 1) The modern and futuristic setting is already being used with many other games. Besides we know everything there is to know about the modern day world, people would criticize the hell out of anything it gets wrong or makes up. 2) The whole point of the AC games is to go back in time and explore the past, unlock its secrets to save the future. oh and there is a third, Ubisoft has said COUNTLESS times this is the final desmond based AC game. not the final AC game but the last one to feature desmond as the main protagonist of the modern day assassins brotherhood.
This games looks well done, even the fluidity of jumping through objects or moving from building to building without it be super fake. Im looking forward to this game. I however hope they kind of lay off assassins creed for a bit after this one, they are kinda milking the fun out of the game series
The game itself looks cool. But damn the AI is stupid, they just sit there. Makes it look unrealistic.
Hard to make a game much sexier than this, the hanging an enemy from a rope is a little unrealistic though.
@Blitztrick Has assassins creed or any other video game for that fact ever been completely realistic? Haha
@Blitztrick who cares if the rope thing is unrealistic. Diving from very high buildings into haystacks is even more unrealistic but it is one of the features that these games have that make them so fun to play :D
climbing mechanics are way better. i wish they didnt milk the franchise so that i would be more excited about this. they shouldve done assassins creed 1 then 2 then this one (only one with ezio but make it a complete story) and then one with just desmond
@armedvigilante Well, brotherhood and revelations were still pretty good games although not as good as 1 and 2, but thanks to the money they earned from those games, they had more to invest into assassins creed 3 to make it as good as possible
@Oleg_Huzwog would you rather have him wear a colonial tri-corner hat? Don't think so.
Still look amazing even though I'm still put off by him being the only one dressed as he is he shouldn't be that hard to detect.
