Here's your first look at Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, due out later this year.
On completing this game, I imagen i'll be playing Alestorm in the background while free roaming and stabbing peeps in the jugular >:D
The naval combat was the purest thing about ACIII. The rest was glitchy gameplay and lame fighting system that made a lot of missions far more difficult than they should have been. Not to mention the lacking optional objectives that, in the end, just made them not worth attempting in many missions.
Here's to hoping Black Flag doesn't commit the same.
if they give this assasin a personality like Ezio........then i can say that this game will kick ASS!!!
Either Ubisoft was making this game alongside AC III, or their cow in the basement has a surplus of milk.
After seeing the concept art for AC in China it really got my hopes up for the next AC (the asian cinema side of me got the better of me!) but only to be released with pirates, yea ok i quite like the idea of pirates! but rural china/dynastys/martials arts and sword/spear fighting etc still would of been great! ah well maybe november 2014 they will release 'AC does China' whoooooppp!! :-D
2 things i dream to experience in a game...
1. being an assassin
2. being a pirate
now i can be both in one game!!!! =D
well played ubisoft,,, well played....
Got to be careful when sitting in the omnibus because you can never know where you can end up.First in Italy ,second in Turkey, third fighting against the Brits in the tea party, which by the way this trailer looks like a continuation on the docks from the last game, and as I was saying you can end up in space in a couple of years. Maybe the next A.Cr. can be made in space in conjunction with dead space Who knows?I think the guys run out of ideas. Oh they can try brazil for next years World Cup.
hell yeaaaa dats the way to pick women, just backstab the bastard dats with her and took her in ur arms :D
@lucutisborg i dont see the problem with regular releases, i mean i hate on call of duty as much as the next guy. But if ubisoft can actually pull off fun gameplay with a good story and relatable characters then i dont see the problem with it
yes. i was really worried the lead character would be a wimpy nobody. now that i know he's mr. awesome super tuff guy, just like me, i can identify and me fears are assuaged, arg.
like some other people said before me... this yearly iteration of the franchise is not a good thing... you can't innovate enough in 1 year to make it worth 60$... if they keep it like this, they should sell the new game for half the price since they're just changing some locations and graphics, but the core mechanics and engine which would justify big expenses will be kept from the previous title. selling the new game coming out one year later for the full price and using 90% of the previous games' technology is nothing but a robbery from customers and fans of the series and things like this should be discouraged. if the developer wants to charge 60$ he should only do it if the game is twice as big and requires years of hard work and innovation.
@Alexrmf dont like it ? dont buy it ! simple as that. always complaining as if it would change anything. Ac rules
@Alexrmf Every game is in development for 2-3 years as there are different teams working on different games, so none of these games are made in 1 year.
Damn they just release AC3 and now AC4 is getting release this year. What they going to start release AC every freaking year. So im going to expect AC5 in 2014???? Man they are miking the ISH out of this series.
@BOSTONJOHN32 So? I said it would suck when they did and it does.
Im sorry guys but im kinda A.C'd out.. I played them all and couldnt bring myself to finish revelations nor AC III. Unless they do a little innovating i may pass on the next on at launch and pick it up when its on sale or something. I am not taking anything away from the franchise because A.C has a great formula /mechanics but its getting a bit stale for me and well unless the next one has a more complete/well paced storytline etc im gonna hold off. They dont need to invent sliced bread but i need more of a reason to pay 60 bucks to feel like i have been there done that because it seem all too familiar.
Personally I would have rather waited for their next big new world game in Asia (Japan I'm sure). Pumping out a game based heavily on the engine and gameplay of AC:USA keeps the fans happy I guess. I really miss the Middle East aspect of crusaiders. The original was the best because it was original - nothing like it was out there. Now Ubisoft seem to be pleasing the majority of fans who wanted the series in America or to play pirates with ships etc, or indeed go to Japan to play non-historical ninjas, instead of creating something truely unique. Thank god for Rockstar studios. Now there is innovative gaming.
If you're doing prequels, Ubi, please set one during the Spanish Conquest of the Americas and let us run around Mesoamerica and the Andes. Neither Tenochtilan nor Cusco have ever been depicted in a game in which you could fully interact with them. Maya ruins in Black Flag is a step in the right direction, but go all the way with the next one Ubisoft.
I get the impression this guy's gonna be "meaner" then connor or ezio were.
I like that he's white too, first fully white protagonist lol.
What difference to the game does it make if he's white or not?
@Ayzed First fully white protagonist? Ezio was caucasian.
@Ayzed Till he Gets Killed by a BLACK SLAVE.
