How do u get the classic asteroids?

In a certain level in the main game mode (I think it's around level 15) you will see an asteroid which resembles an asteroid from the original game. If you destroy that asteroid, a message will appear saying something like "Classic Asteroids Unlocked" and the original game will then be selectable from the main menu.
