Does it really matter if he cheated or not? I mean sure he is ''ruining'' the game for himself this way but maybe he enjoys his game like that? You know there are gamers that play games on easy mode to enjoy the game and story without having trouble playing it that's what this guy is prob. doing. Good for him let's just move on k?

im sorry for my bad english in advance..
but i think that what you did was a stupid way of losing time with no offense..
if you wanted do to so you had better played at the black pits and got yourself a biffed up character.. it doesnt take long and you can buy pretty good stuff there..
the only problem is that you get stucked at 16100 exp which i belive is set by this experience cap... still i wouldnt recommend you to do so because you kill the opportunity to enjoy a challenging game

It's no different from people using the alchemy / enchantment loop in Skyrim to make weapons with 10000% stats and claiming it wasn't cheating because the developers didn't stop them from doing it.
I always ended up running my characters through Gatekeeper before playing the game so I could give them good stats without sitting on the character selection screen clicking reroll for half an hour and reallocated stupidly placed weapon or stat proficiencies on companions - is that cheating?
Yeah, probably, but it doesn't affect anyone else's experience!
I know there is a multiplayer option but in the 10+ years of playing BG I've never touched it so honestly don't know if people tinkering like this has ruined anyone else's experience, I can't imagine it's had huge impact.

Hey guys, I used the console to give my character a million XP and all the best items before exiting Candlekeep. It's not cheating because it's built into the game and called "console commands", not "cheat codes". No matter what you say, I'm just going to respond with "lol" or act like I don't understand what you're implying because I didn't "cheat"! FEED ME YOUR ATTENTION! HAHAHAHAHA!
