One of the best Batman games ever made if not the best.

- "Amazing"
This was an amazing game a lot better than I thought it would be. I'll be honest I have never really been a huge fan of Batman because I guess I truly did not understand him, he has no powers and he rely's more on gadgets then actual super powers because like I said before he does not have any, I did not get that he has to rely more on his mind then just going straight in there to beat his enemy's up he uses more strategy and I can respect that, and just this game made me respect Batman I think I finally got Batman on this game then when I didn't play it.
Everything just worked well in this game, from the beat em up segments to the stealth segments everything was pretty much flawless. The Beat em up segments were just perfectly crafted, there wasn't a whole lot of combo type attacks but you know what I like it better that way, when I'm playing a beat em up type game I don't want to have to think about a bunch of combo's I want to do. The stealth segments as I said above were also just outstanding and one huge reason was because of Detective mode, which I think is just absolutely outstanding, some say that you have to use it through most of the game and you can't really enjoy the environment's because of it, but I disagree, there is a lot of backtracking in this game so you still will see most of the environments at this time and that's good enough for me but I would have to say that is one of this games flaws I'm not a big fan of backtracking but I guess it's forgivable. Also I'm not really a fan of the navigation in general, there is a map that tells you where to go and that's great for the most part but as I said before as the backtracking come into play it can get a little bit annoying.
There is also a lot of collecting in this game it's not mandatory but if you want to complete the game then it's going to be challenging the riddler trophies are all over the place but I guess that's what you want when you want to collect things, I do like that you are also able to collect recordings of the bad guys, it gives you an idea of what they all are like if you have never seen any of the shows, or movies. Speaking of the bad guys, the boss battles are superb every single one is special in its own way and every single one is pretty much different, the only one I am really disappointed with was (Spoiler Alert) Joker. Everyone knows that Joker really isn't a fighter, he uses his mind to get to his enemy's not his strength so why in the holy hell would you turn him into a huge brute for the final boss? And not only that when you fight him you don't fight Joker that much the objective is to beat his minions, bring him down with the grapple hook and beat him up with three hits, three times and that's it, so was there really a purpose of making him huge like that you might as well just beat the small joker. Also the ending was alright, I realize that it would have been hard to make more of an ending because the story wasn't a big complex story and that's fine but I guess I was just expecting more of an ending.
Overall the little flaws in this game are forgivable and this is just an amazing game, a truly good tribute to the Batman series, this game honestly made me more interested in the batman series also. If you are not a Batman fan this game is still worth playing every part of the game is well executed and if Batman wasn't in this game it would still be a great game.
