The Bottom Line:
"Total letdown"
Batman Arkham City: Harley Quinn's Revenge takes off from where Arkham City ended. The good and the bad are still coming to terms with Jokers death and Harley is out for revenge on the one who killed him .. Batman !!

You start off by playing as Tim aka Robin, who is on a mission to find out what happened to his master and along the way try to discover any clues leading to Batman's whereabouts and after running round, getting stuck, running round again, fighting some henchmen to then come across a clue that might help in finding Batman, the screen takes you back to "2 days earlier" where your shown a conversation between Chief Gordon and the Dark Knight himself, after their little exchange you then take control of Batman in the open world of Arkham City that is now housing more armed, padded and electrified henchmen than the fist-friendly ones. The game is very dark and because of this, some players might feel the need to use detective mode alot as the snipers can see you better than you can see them, this can make the game seem more of a "Challenge Level" rather than an actual sub-story to the original game, also with the over powering number of armed henchmen, stratergy will have to play a massive part if your wanting to survive till the end. With this said however, as Batman you do have access to the Bat's entire arsenal of weapons and gadgets which you gained in Arkham City so it's not all bad news.

The gameplay itself is exactly the same as it was in Arkham City which is good to know. However there is one little problem, when your in combat with a heavily crowded gang of thugs, you will often find yourself button mashing rather than using combo moves and the counter Y button as enemies will swarm you from all angles and will try to damage you with anything that isn't nailed to the floor. Should your battles get to much for you, just tap the grapple button, assuming there's something to grab and you'll be out of harms way, just make sure an enemy doesn't gain access to a gun. The use of glide, sneak, grapple and detective mode are easily accesible when your in trouble or need a heads up when planning an ambush on an unsuspecting opponent.

Harley Quinn's Revenge has some flaws and the over powering enemies and game overs, your sure to encounter could frustrate some players. Overall, this isn't a bad game and if your not to bothered about losing 400MSP then it's worth a few hours play but sadly, Harley's quest for revenge just doesn't quite cut it.

Batman on NES was inspired by the 1989 film. It was released in 1989 by Sunsoft. The NES version of Batman is a platform action game that features locations from the 1989 movie. It was received well despite changes from the movie it's based upon.
