I was more excited about the Harley Quinn's Revenge add-on when I thought it meant I could play as Harley herself. I find the LEGO Batman games ... pretty much ALL the LEGO games irritating. *Sigh* I guess I'll boot DC Universe Online again and try some of those silly little melee matches. I just ... I just wanted a game where I could run around beating the living daylights out of AIs! Is that too much to ask?!!

Why do you find the Lego games irritating? I don't necessarily disagree, I'm just wondering.

I'll probably be kicking a flaming hornets' nest by answering, but the controls are too slippery, I often don't know what the hell to do, and the deaths are really cheap. It's way too easy to lose precious collectible lego-coin pieces. I got so mad at Lego Batman 2 once that I broke the case in frustration. Luckily the game wasn't in the case when that happened (though I have destroyed a library game before). Yes, I rage-quit. Now if you'll excuse me...

So your frustrations are entirely gameplay related?

Well, yeah. What else is there?
I mean, some of the characters might be a little annoying, but none of them are constantly yelling "Yahoo!", "Wahah!", "Woohoo!", or "It's-a me!" in really stupid fake accents.

    Nothing, I suppose.

If you said you hated Legos in general, I'd get my torches and pitchforks.

I think the characters and structures in the LEGO games looks kinda silly, but I could easily overlook that. Personally, I prefer more realistic characters who are not completely flat-chested, but that's just me.
