I know you have to go through the game twice but, is the game itself harder. I had 8 more challenges left to plat, just got the game last Friday. When I beat Shock & Awe Extreme before Sewer Bat E and Rumble In The Jungle E, I knew I could do it and I did. I was very proud, woke up a lot and had a few dreams about some combat moments. XD Its not hard, just annoying. =p

Tougher to plat? Maybe so, but just by a tad. The combat challenges are a breeze this time around. It's those damn predator challenges that are a hassle this time around.

The stealth missions are actually going to be tough? O_o The only one I really found tough from Predator was Silent Knight Extreme or something? It wasn't tough, but just was frustrating getting everything in place.

The only stuff that might give you trouble are some predator challenges and campaigns. The challenges aren't even all the bad, but the campaigns... Time limits can suck it.

Combat maps are ridiculously easy. Just work up a 5x combo, do bat swarm, hit 3 guys, re-do bat swarm, repeat until you win. It feels really cheap but it is very effective at boosting your score. You should have no problem with the challenge maps. Most maps don't even have guns, and if they do the enemy hardly ever seems to use it. If they do have a weapon you can just use a certain combo to break their weapon.

The predators, as stated, are rough, but are probably not too much different from AA's (hard to remember exactly here). But the real challenge comes from the campaign mode, where instead of just doing one challenge you have to do 3 back to back without failing. I think you get a couple chances to continue, but it's still very tough. It took me several hours just to get some of the pred maps done normally, so I'm not looking forward to the challenge that makes me do 3 in a row. Campaign and new game + are the only things I have left to do, and I'll do NG+ when my Gamefly membership runs out this month. Campaign... maybe never. I'm afraid.

And even then, Batman's campaigns aren't that bad. It's if you want the trophies from the additional characters... Then you have problems.

This game takes longer but difficulty is the same. There are some new additions to combat but everything has the same learning curve as AA does. The only hard part is the Riddler's challenges out of story mode. Some of the Predator missions are rather time consuming to figure out; what with thug patrol patterns and all.
