I dont know if I have ever played a free-roam game that I actually wanted to complete all of the side missions and find all of the collectibles with the exception of one; Batman: Arkham City. After completing the main campaign, (which is incredible, whether you are a Batman fan or not) I actually wanted to do everything else that was left over! The best part about it is that Rocksteady gave us a jaw dropping number of bonus missions as well and every one of them is unique and tailored to the villain that has devised the scheme.

Playing as Batman feels perfect. The controls are simple, yet sophisticated and at no point did I experience complications. Most games just copy and paste movements when they offer multiple characters, but once you begin to play as Catwoman you are pleasantly surprised with a difference in stealth, fighting style, and gadgets.

This game never falls short in any department. As a matter of fact, just writing this review makes me want to play it again!

I demand that Rocksteady be create every superhero game made from this moment on. If they are not given this charge, every one of them will fall short of the artistry that is Batman: Arkham City.
