Do MAV riders REALLY deserve a stat wipe??

BF3 Xbox Server: Close Quarters Training - CQ + TDM. Ranked. 200% Tickets. Hardcore mode.I think it looks silly, but nobody is taking the MAV anywhere that a sniper wouldn't realistically go IRL. Tops of buildings, on the highway. It's not like these players are floating on a glitch in the sky (like people used to in CoD). Besides, until they get better, the farther away from the action, the less effective these players are anyway. IMO, anybody who reports a MAV rider is just being a cry baby.

- I really havent had a big deal with it yet. If there is a sniper way up there i will either snipe them back or even mortar them to get them to move. Not the mention if there are planes or helos around.

It is a little harsh in my opinion. People could reach these places by jumping out of a helicoptor and parachuting down to them just as easily.

Dice is just upset that they didn't have the foresight to see that people playing as snipers would actually want to snipe. You know, not just laying open out in the middle of a field or road. Completely lame to build these levels with Multistory buildings that you can't access.
Guess it was easier to just make solid blocks for buildings and give them interiors.

umm... the MAV riders have access to more places than just parachuting. why don't they just throw a spawn beacon and parachute into where they want then?
they should have patched the MAV to not be able to stand on it.
a stat swipe is a little extreme... but they knew what they where doing
and ive never seen snipers ride mini helicopters the size of skateboards to get to where they wanna snipe from in real life...
