Battlefield 3 (BF3) is a game everyone should have.
Ok where to begin? How about the best part of the game!
Multiplayer!
This is a winner, I enjoyed previous BF games for their intensity online, this game is even better! The sound look and feel of the guns is unmatched in any other shooter I've played, the emotion that comes out from an intense firefight is unlike any other game. You run through rubble to revive a fallen team mate as bullets whiz past your head and nearby explosions deafen you, all the while your heart races!

Singleplayer.
Honestly, after having this game for many months I only just finished the singleplayer campaign, purely because multiplayer is so amazing as soon as you start singleplayer you feel the need to go back to multiplayer. Singleplayer was good, I liked the story and there was a wide variety of missions, the difficulty levels are accurate, I played it through on hard first and it was legitimately hard in many spots. Enemies aren't stupid and neither is your team AI is excellent! Also achievements give you insentive to play it more then once, which isn't a tedious exercise just a new experience. Seriously though if you want to play through singleplayer first, DO NOT GO ONLINE! As soon as you start multiplayer you will not be able to do anything else for a long time!

Graphics, Audio, Gameplay.
All three are top notch. Graphics are incredible, even on my PS3, I can only dream of owning a PC that gets the most out of BF3. As mentioned earlier the sound from the guns is terrific and explosions are just plain scary, also the sound of a tank or chopper searching for you is one of the most fearful things in a game.
Dear god don't let it see me!
All in all gameplay is smooth and exciting. Need I say more?
