Battlefield 3 is the FPS that has captured war elements perfectly. From its great single player to it's fantastic multiplayer, Battlefield 3 will have you hating Call of Duty for wasting your time.

You can't run around and kill everything in your path, instead it has real life elements that will make it much more immersive, you have to take cover and slowly advance across enemy lines. The campaign is rather short, 6-7 hours but that is not what the game is truly about.

It is about piloting fighter planes, taking control of tanks, driving a humvee with someone shooting it. It really does give a team based game feel unlike other FPS games like Call of Duty where it is basically every man for himself and every "assist" is called a kill steal.

It has different game modes that help this idea of team playing and features gigantic warzone maps. It is no longer about who get's the most kills anymore and it's multiplayer will hold your attention for a long, long time. Battlefield 3 is definitely worth playing if you are into FPS war games.
