lol DICE have screwed up Aim Assist on BF3 bigtime in the latest patch, now every noob and his dog can kill you even if they can't aim, I've always played with it off cause I feel there is no place for it in Console FPS games and cause my background from the PC version of BC2, it's just a training wheel for bad players. I tested it on BC2 and it gives you nowhere the advantage it does as on BF3, BF3 is truly becoming a CoD clone. see here for proof. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6-Y1LIY9LY

It was pretty bad on BC1 though. I didn't even realize it was on back then until I went to nail someone with the SPAS12 and it shifted to someone running behind him and nailed them both. I have had it off since that happened.

Thats interesting, have never played BC1 mp just the SP, played BF2, BC2 and BF3, seems like over 80% of the players on BF3 are using it though I preferred the game to how it was pre-patch now skill level has just gone out the window.

I had a horrible night in BF3 last night, and decided to jump on BC2. I almost never died. The aiming just feels perfect in this game. I can't aim for squat in BF3..

I think I should just sell BF3. I don't care about the premium services, I don't play it enough to warrant actually buying any of the DLC, and the game frustrates me in ways that BC2 never did. It's to the point that I actually verbally complain about it as I'm playing.

Ha Ha... Of course not! I know you like to be hard on yourself. I see you played a couple TDM's. That will make anybody hate BF3. I've been playing Conquest & Rush on the Karkand maps & been having really good games win or lose. I wouldn't mind playing some BFBC2 Rush though... To stay on topic I don't really play better with the aim assist on. I have good enough aim to get on target. I don't like how it messes up your aim from time to time.I usually lose gun fights because of reacting too slow or I get shot in the back.

It was bad for him, yet I felt like I was just picking up some good steam. I had 14 SKS kills in one normal round. I hate the recon class in BF3.

Believe it or not, Noshahr is so much fun on TDM. It's perfect. A small enclosed shotgun area, and a medium range outside. It's my favorite map and mode right now.

The DAO is rediculously overpowered on that map. It is powerful on any map, but man, it is a beast on that map. I was having severe lag on that map last night though. I had shot a guy 5 times in the face with the SKS with a hitmarker each time and then I get killed by a guy in one shot with: THE SKS. I had a 100% health.

I have a deep repugnance for BF3. The fact that people still play it boggles my mind. BC2 is superior in every way (i.e.: better map design, classes are more balanced, destructible environments, better hit detection, no proning, better hardcore mode, etc.).

I don't understand how a game developer can go from BC2 to BF3. Atleast with Square Enix it took them a long time to become bad (from FF7 and Xenogears to FF13 and Dungeon Siege 3). The Vietnam expansion was brilliant also it's just a shame no one plays it.

BF3 has more hype behind it then BC2.

However going from BC2 to BF3.... BC2 is definitely more fun and BF3 is aggravating

I cut aim assist on BC1 when I saw it was actually on the game one day when i was fumbling around in the options menu. The whole bullets going through corners thing never sat well with me, I couldnt be apart of that
