There are many third person hack and slash action adventure games out there, but not many titles which actually can compete with Devil May Cry series. Well, there is now, because Bayonetta is a really crazy game which every DMC fan will definitely appreciate.

The world of Bayonetta is filled with mysterious, gothic and dark elements where magic and demons normal things. The main character - Bayonetta is a reborn witch who wakes up after 500 hundred years. Her memory is lost and she wants to remember all the things which have happened.

Bayonetta is a beautiful, sexy and full of erotism young woman who is both a witch and a gunslinger. When it comes to guns, she is different than Dante because Bayonetta has four pistols - two in her hands and two on her legs. Seeing her shooting all four guns while performing a strip dance is really sweet. I am sure that Dante would surely like her. What is more, Bayonetta's outfit is made of her very long hair which is a really original idea. All of her moves are full of feminism and sex. She is a cocky witch who likes to kick some ass that is for sure. Moreover, our woman protagonist is as skillful and athletic as Dante or Prince of Persia.

Cutscenes and battles with enemies and bossess are spectacular, dynamic and simply amazing. Bayonetta is a hack and slash action adventure game so be ready to face lots and lots of different demons of different size. We have got a constant action in most cases. I liked the part of the game where we are riding a motorcycle. Something which should have been in DMC series long time ago. Bayonetta's witch powers and abilities are really impressive so kicking demons' ass is a real pleasure. We buy new techniques, weapons and items by collecting gold rings.

The game's mysterious and gothic atmosphere of dark fantasy is pretty awesome to me. There are also some funny scenes and conversations between the characters. Moreover, the soundtrack is very climatic. Some mix elements of Japanese pop and jazz really suit Bayonetta.

The graphics are on a good level, but the visual effects are clearly not a huge plus of this title. I beat the game on the xbox 360 because it does not have so many bugs and glitches when compared to the PS3 version. Also, there are some tearing problems and camera issues.

All in all, Bayonetta is a surprisingly good game. I thought that it will be just a poor clone of Devil May Cry games but fortunately it is not. Every hack and slash fan should play it, especially those who like DMC series. This game will bring you new experience which is simply amazing. Also if you are a guy who likes pretty women (and who doesn't) then this title is for you.
