Best New Character(s)
Anyone who says video games don't have personalities obviously hasn't played any of the games on this list. This was a year that introduced us to many new characters, and the following games featured names and faces and voices that remained with us long after we stopped playing. From the sophomoric philosophical ramblings of BioShock's Andrew Ryan, to the memorable Kai of Heavenly sword, to Wrex of Mass Effect, to two different entres from The Orange Box--the colorful and crazy cast of Team Fortress 2 and GLaDOS, these characters prove that it's possible to tell a wide variety of tales using video games.
