People's Choice Game of the YearRound 5
Who will be the GameSpot People's Choice Game of the Year?
People's Choice Game of the Year voting will employ a bracket system that pits games against each other in head-to-head elimination rounds until only one game remains. Vote in each round here (you must be signed in!) and discuss current match-ups in the comments below.
Wondering how we decided the bracket seeding? Watch now!
thinking of next year when we have bioshock infinite, DMC, tomb rider, god of war 4, beyond, gears of war judgment, the last of us, GTAV and some more ... it will be a HELL OV a VOTING!!!!
ps.
cant wait to see ME3 win the third ppl award this year after gameinformer and IGN :)
Personally I believe ME3 did everything right until the ending. Personally, it's more significant for me than FC3, even though I'm loving FC3 so far.
Though the end is messed up, ME3 is a good game. Still, not good enough to go to the finals...
@WithThePunches for you not for me so keep these knd of wannabe cool judge comments for yourself kkthxbb
BEFORE VOTING READ WHAT KEV AND MAXWELL GAMESPOT PEOPLE WRITE ABOUT ME3 AND FAR CRY3.
@topgambler How about actually playing both games and judging them for yourself?
@moniso Check main gamespot frame editors perspective. Kevin list top ten and Maxwell list top ten.
@topgambler @moniso And I thought they have something to do with video games. My bad. :P
@moniso @topgambler Sounds like both of them have something to do with video games. :)
<troll>
If these are the "finalists", then this was really bad year for gaming ? >:D

Although ME3 is a truly great game, i feel as though the 'Whole' is greater than the sum of its parts, whereby its in the final purely because its the finale to the ME trilogy, and not neccessarily because of its individiual merits.
@Zehan_cool Unfortunately, although you could admire it in all its glory in Mass Effect 2, it was nowhere to be seen in Mass Effect 3. Therefore, Far Cry 3 wins.
@DannyC_pt u didnt see miranda in ME3??? really? that chat on cita? or those missions? i hate her but poor u :D
@ar6ra6sh9 Sure, you had those minor missions but still... Miranda was one of the most important characters in ME2, and then she's completely put to the side in ME3. I don't get it.
Damn so it's gonna be Far Cry 3 vs Mass Effect 3. Both amazing games and glad to see they are the finals.

@Azure_Nova You might prefer being the king of the beach but i'll go for the hero of the universe title!! :P
FART CRY 3 DIDNT DESERVE TO WIN ! Look editors choice Kev and Maxwell Gamespot people. They know ME3 is better.

@topgambler @Azure_Nova This is Day 1 of personal choices. And it is as it says. Personal choices that reflect personal taste. I mean, only someone really passionate with beat'em ups would put Tekken Tag Tournament 2 in 5th and Persona 4 Arena 3rd. I still wonder why indie games like Hotline miami and Fez show up in these lists they are a totally different market, An indie games list and a mobile phone games list would make more sense. IMO there are lots of other indie games that are just as good and simply don't show up because it doesn't make any sense.
@Azure_Nova better look on Kev and Maxwell top ten. Where is far cry3 and where is me3

Ill put this in really simple terms for you.
Given that there are more of us than them, i'd say its a fair bet that the 'Peoples Choice' awards more accurately reflect which game is best. Ultimately we are all our own best judges, these are 'Opinions' afterall.
@Azure_Nova Not recognizing that Editor's choice is just another opinion of a very small fraction of people who are gamers like the rest of us, acting like editors' opinions matter more than anyone else's thus directly putting them above yourself and your opinion. How servient you actually are?
