Dubious Honors

Let's make this clear: Being nominated for GameSpot's dubious honors awards isn't really much of an honor. These categories and their nominees reflect the less-savory side of gaming, such as the most egregious use of in-game advertising, the flat-out worst game, and the least improved sequel. Sadly, there's plenty to choose from this year in just about every category, which led to some heated debates over which games truly deserve a not-so-desirable distinction.

It's Dead Space, genius, and extraction was a spin off based on the one released on the xbox and ps3

If deep space appeared on Xbox 360/PS3 maybe it would have been played more? I find it hard to take games seriously on the Wii

It's the npc who sells you the dlc in dragon age that they're commenting about. It's horrendous and should never be done by any game ever again.

Best game no one played is like a a good award mixed with a bad award for least selling. Also i played ninja blade =P. Also a lot of those games shouldn't have been there.

i thought fear 2 was a real let down, the first game had both intense, visceral awesome fire fights against incredibly clever AI and some seriously pant wetting scary bits, but fear 2 was just boring and predictable and cliche.

it almost seems like fear 2 tried too hard to fix the first games supposed problems (apparantly not having enough enemy variety, location variety and colour was bad, altough it didnt bother me) and in fixing these problems it became a flabby generic shooter

FEAR 2 wasn't disappointing on the PC. It was just more of what the original did so well the first time round with better graphics. I'm surprised the controversial ending didn't end up on the memorable moments list, that came out of nowhere.

Overlord 2 is a massive improvement over Overlord 1, the controls are better the graphics are better and the mechanics of the gameplay have been improved on ten fold.

FEAR 2, i pre-orderd it and wanted my money back, it was poor compared to the original and the demo was far better than the full game.
