Funniest Game

These days, game developers seem to put much more emphasis on realistic graphics and smooth frame rates than on good old-fashioned humor. Regardless, there are those rare games that make us laugh even as they present us with bad guys to blast, and this award honors their efforts at levity in the face of world-ending danger. In such a highly competitive industry, in which every game seems to be trying to outdo every other game in terms of technology and gameplay, we're glad that we can sit back and enjoy a good laugh with the funniest games of the year.

    Borderlands for me I was in stitches of laughter so many times while playing it, especially at the first boss.

    I'm surprised Borderlands hasn't got any nominations yet (out of the ones i've read) especially surprised it didn't get a nomination for this. Brutal Legend should've won this category -.- One reason, Jack Black

    I think Overkill did deserve the award it was a funny game I thought it was Isaac Washington that made the game entertaining.

    This is such a difficult award, for my money there hasn't been a properly laugh-out-loud funny game since the early and mid '90s LucasArts adventures like the first two Monkey Islands, Day of the Tentacle and the like. Of any of the games I've played this year, I didn't really find any of them funny.

    Oh man, choosing between Brutal Legend, Bowser's Inside Story and Eat Lead was the hardest choice I've made this year. However, I think I laughed the most with Mario and Luigi, so my vote goes there.
