The story is so very well done, soundtrack is a huge plus also.

This is a truelly wonderful game. Don't let the last gen look put you off. Download it, play through to completion and I guarantee you will be knocking Ubisofts doors down for the sequel.

never played the original release. may pick this up, looks fun! those saying graphics are like the PC one from the original release, what did you expect? lol, HD remakes don't mean necessarily the entire graphics are getting remade with new textures and everything, nope it just means that current gen consoles can display the original textures at high resolution, just as PCs could 8 years ago. It's good for those who just play on consoles, like myself. If you have the game on PC already, there is no point in getting it again on the 360/ps3, so stop complaining. Also if you read the article that i got the link on this trailer from, ubisoft is releasing this to pump more interest/renew interest in the BG&E series as they are making the sequel...

Well, this looks almost like it did on the PC in 2003. Some higher resolution textures here and there, but I can't say it really looks any better.

I hope this sells well so they can continue making the rest of the series like planned. That's probably why they're re-releasing it.

the graphics are sh*t

Having played BG&E not too long ago, the game is only HD for consoles. When I saw the gameplay trailer and the actual in-game footage, all of it looked exactly as it did on my PC when I played it a few months ago. I'm sure some of the menu assets will probably be upgraded a bit, but so far the graphics looks exactly the same as on PC.

@march202002 At first I wasn't quite sure, but I actually think that is her voice. :D I don't think they redid any voice acting in the HD version. I hope they get all the right voice actors in the sequel, especially Jade and Pey'j.

i remember playing this game on my ps2 and loving it. too bad i had some pretty bad glitches in the end, one time peyj'd disappeared after a save point and another time where that guy in armor was stuck between walls, lol.

I'm still waiting until someone does a decent comparison of this against the PC version. Has anyone done that yet? Let's all remember that PC games had "HD" resolutions long before televisions and console games did. If it's even remotely close I will just buy the PC version instead.

everyone says it looks not HD. sorry to say it for you but if you play the game then watch this video you clearly see its HD. and watching forward to play on xbox360 :)

it is "HD", but only in screen resolution. But thats ok because i never really cared about photorealism. This look great

The side by sides I've seen to make it look a bit more scrubbed up texture wise at least. But...did they changer her voice? I'm going to be a little grumpy if they took the original voice actors out. I thought they all did a good job and I have fond memories of their chatter.

I really enjoyed the GameCube version! This one doesn't look at all "High Def". =/

Will be buying, my disc for PS2 had a scratch I discovered a few days after I could return it after buying used and the game would freeze in the last area so I never knew the ending. Though after the video I don't recall much of the game so it will be fun to play again.

this game is one of the best i bought on GC last gen. will be getting it on my PS3 this gen...cant wait for sequel.

I loved this game!...... I hope they really took time and care to bring it up to date properly... I'm really looking forward to the sequel too, I hope by making the characters and game more photo realistic it doesn't lose any of the charm that made this game so special.

This was originally a PC game. Only later it was ported to PS2 and finally to Xbox1 and GC.

Somehow I managed to miss the original on the GameCube. I'm looking forward to playing this in all its remastered HD glory. And at 800 MSP, it's a steal!

I played about 4hrs into the original and regretably never finished it. I'm looking forward to getting back to it. Looks great in HD.
