Loyalty to the job I guess, it would reflect badly on him if he said she was KIA and then she was found to be alive too. If there's ever a sequel I'd like it if Charlie could play a part, on either Dan & Faye's side or against them.

Because most reviewers don't tend to really get into or finish games when they aren't hyped or when they aren't being slipped anything good from the publisher, and most people who rate games online are either morons or they vote based on what they think without having played it or maybe more than just the demo.

Look at the amount of people who have called this game a generic TPS... they blatantly haven't played it. The limb/head removing mechanic and how it affects enemy AI, the variety in enemies, bosses, throwable weapons, different gameplay sections etc are all quality, but people see over-the-shoulder point-and-shoot gameplay and see stereotyped characters like Dan and Bo and automatically write it off.

Out of all the posts I've seen from people who have actually got to the end and beaten the game it's been nothing but praise (besides one post, but the guy obviously thought he was clever, the kind of guy who mistakenly thinks he could make a better game just because he's worked in QA for a year or two). I wouldn't trust metacritic, 'professional' reviews have been trash for years now and everyone else just votes low or high based on what they've seen on YouTube or how much the like or dislike who made the game
