Rapture

Hey everyone!
Quick question, do you think Irrational will return to Rapture in future games? I just read an (2010) interview with the lead developer and he said that there was a possibility but I'm not sure if that was pre-Infiite conception or not.
Would you like to see a return after perhaps the next two games or would you prefer a third setting.
Sorry if all this has been asked before.

I honestly hope they don't. They caught lightning in a bottle with the original Bioshock and I still think it was a self-contained story that needed no sequel or multiplayer (which is why I never played Bioshock 2). A different setting would be a nice change of pace and that's what Bioshock Infinite is shaping up to be--can you say NO multiplayer? :D

>The wait is KILLING ME!
It would be nice to see a game that brought REAL closure to Rapture as a whole.
The second game only closed the chapter for Persephone and the other Bioshock 2 areas of the city.

- Feb 7, 2013 10:00 am GMTyou know, I thought a lot about this. Maybe they should make a prequel when Rapture started to fall right before BioShock. THAT would be cool to me. Watching the panic, the terror, the crumbling of all society while trying to survive. Then maybe your goal is to force a plane down which holds "the savor of Rapture". It would be cool to me at least

Well we already know Rapture is not going to be the main setting in the third one, and most likely not in the fourth one either. Though I won't be surprised with these time jumps that Rapture might make an apperence in the game. I just hope the story and setting can match or at least come close to the greatness of the first game, especially if they do use Rapture in future games.

There have been less interesting worlds conceived in gaming that spawned much more than 2 games ,so based on this fact i think Rapture could easily have another game taking place in it,given the fact that they give it the proper quality treatment that the previous games had....
personally,I cant get enough of Rapture :D
